This quick and easy decorating technique will be sure to give you stars in your eyes.

Method
Step 1
Bake your biscuits (we have done a mixture of circle and star shapes) and leave them to fully cool on a cooling rack. In the meantime make up four lots of icing (to a fairly thick consistency) by mixing icing sugar with a drop of water. If your icing becomes too runny add a touch more icing sugar. Colour each lot of icing using a few drops of black, dark purple and pink food colouring and leave one batch of icing white.
Step 2
Pipe the black icing around the rim of the biscuit.
Step 3
Fill the centre with a thick rim of purple icing.
Step 4
Pipe a smaller circle of the pink icing in the centre.
Step 5
Top the pink icing with a small blob of white icing.
Step 6
Using a cocktail stick swirl around the colours to create a galaxy pattern.
Step 7
You can add additional small flecks of white icing as stars. Allow to set before serving.
