Step 4:
Season the dough with salt and pepper and add the basil before continuing to mix.
Step 5:
Grease a loaf tin with a little butter and pour in the mixture.

Hello, can this be made in an eggless way?

Hello,
This recipe has been designed using the eggs as a binding agent so are quite necessary for this recipe.
Maybe trying an eggless bread recipe like this would be a better option -

A great party appetiser, a real crowd-pleaser and am always asked for the recipe. Made this a number of times and although it appears rather liquidy when going in the oven it always turns out perfect.
Please can you tell me if you can make rolls with this recipe?

Hello,
Most bread can be made into rolls, having read the recipe the dough sounds quite a wet dough. I would suggest maybe making them in muffin tins so that they keep their shape.
Hope they are successful for you.
Happy baking!
Easy and very tastefull
Hi, can you freeze this
Thanks Lou

Hi
This loaf can be frozen once baked. Allow it to completely cool before double wrapping in cling film or tin foil and placing in the freezer.
When you are ready to use this loaf, allow it to return to room temperature, wrap in tin foil and warm on a low heat in the oven for 10 minutes.
