This is a traditional flapjack recipe full of delicious strawberries.

Method
Step 1
Heat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C, gas mark 4). Put the butter and sugar together in a bowl and mix together. Stir in the flour.
Ingredients for this step
- Unsalted butter (softened) (100g)
- Billington's Unrefined Light Muscovado Sugar (100g)
- Porridge oats (150g)
Step 2
Add the golden syrup and mix well.

- Silver Spoon Golden Syrup (2 tbsp)
Step 3
Stir in the porridge oats and the chopped strawberries.

- Strawberries (washed, chopped & gently dried) (150g)
- Allinson's plain white flour (50g)
Step 4
Spoon the mix into a slightly greased 20cm shallow round baking dish and press down to cover the bottom of the dish. Bake for 20-25 mins or until the flapjack in golden brown and bubbling.
Step 5
Leave to go cold in the baking dish and then cut into wedges and serve cold with a dollop of clotted cream if liked.
