How To Make Dinosaur Print Cookies

Cookies & Biscuits

Dinosaurs are a firm favourite for kids of all ages (and some adults too) and these cool dinosaur cookies are a great way to bring baking and playtime together. You can use lots of different items to make imprints, why not experiment with shells and other animal toys?

Method

  1. Step 1:

Make a biscuit dough using our Basic Biscuit Dough recipe and cut the dough into a circle shape. Using a dinosaur toy, push the foot into the biscuit dough to imprint a deep footprint.

  2. Step 2:

Bake the biscuits and allow them to cool. If you would like to decorate the biscuits, fill the footprints with coloured icing or alternatively you could try melted chocolate. Allow the icing/chocolate to set before serving.

  3. Step 3:

Why not bury your biscuits in a tray of demerara sugar or biscuit crumbs and get your little paleontologists to excavate them using a pastry brush?
