About the pancakes
The perfect dog treat recipe, these doggy pancakes are sure to get tails wagging. Whether its a poochy brunch, celebration or just a weekend treat spoil your furry friends.
Packed with banana and peanut butter this homemade dog treat recipe will be a guaranteed favourite. A super simple pancake recipe that can also be frozen and enjoyed at a later time.
Method
Step 1
Peel the banana and mash in a medium bowl using a fork
Ingredients for this step
- Ripe Bananas (1)
Step 2
Add the egg and whisk until combined
Ingredients for this step
- Large eggs (1)
Step 3
Add the flour and peanut butter and whisk again until a thick paste is formed
Ingredients for this step
- Allinson's plain white flour (100g)
- Proper Nutty peanut butter (1 tsp)
Step 4
Slowly add the water, whisking as you go to loosen the mixture until a batter is formed
Ingredients for this step
- Water (100ml)
Step 5
Add the oil and heat a non stick frying pan to a medium heat
Ingredients for this step
- Vegetable Oil (1 tsp)
Step 6
Once the pan is hot, add a large spoonful of mixture to the pan and spread slightly with the back of the spoon so the mixture is a rough circle
Step 7
Cook for 1 - 2 mins until it starts to bubble slightly and then using a spatula flip onto it’s other side for 1 - 2 mins. You should be able to cook approx 2 pancakes at a time
Step 8
Once golden on both sides remove and set aside. Repeat until all the mixture is used
Step 9
Allow to cook fully before serving to your dog, top with extra peanut butter if you like!
