About the bake

A classic Elderflower Jelly recipe with delicate flavours makes an excellent palate cleanser or dessert. To make our Elderflower Jelly we only use three ingredients, elderflower cordial, gelatine leaves and water. This recipe requires the Elderflower Jelly to be set for at least 3 hours before serving.

    Method

    1. Step 1

      Place the cordial in a jug and top up to 600ml with the cold water.

    2. Step 2

      Soak the gelatine leaves in 4tbsp cold water for 5 minutes until softened. Heat 150ml of the elderflower cordial mixture in a small pan.

    3. Step 3

      Remove the gelatine leaves and add to the warm elderflower, stir until dissolved, then stir into the cold elderflower mixture. Pour into glasses and allow to set in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
