Recipe Reviews
So far so good. This has made a beautiful looking (and smelling) loaf, but I double proved it (couple of hours in a covered bowl) and it looked far too much for a 1lb loaf tin - so I used a 2lb tin and it has come out looking just right. Not tasted yet, too hot!
Easy recipe with excellent end result, would definitely recommend
Nice easy to follow recipe which produces lovely tasty bread. I’ve used this recipe lots of times with good results and have modified it from time to time adding different ingredients to produce additional flavours. I’ve presently got beer and chilli rolls baking in the oven for lovely tasty burgers with a kick for our tea.
I’ve made lots of bread from bakingmad.com and this is one of my best although its a little bit wet to knead by hand the result is still amazing, I’ve even made bread rolls from this recipe and they are very nice. Whatever bread I make from this site is eaten up the same day.
Still outside rising in the warm sun,
