This rice pudding is so simple to make and perfectly complimented with the addition of sweet glazed orange segments.

Method

  1. Place the flaked rice, milk, Half Spoon and orange zest and juice in a saucepan.

  2. Bring to the boil then reduce the heat to a gentle simmer for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Alternatively, place all the ingredients into a large bowl, cover and microwave on full power for 10 minutes. Stir well and return for a further 10 minutes.

  4. Adjust the consistency with a little milk.

  5. Before serving dip the orange segments in theĀ icing sugarĀ and glaze under a hot grill until golden.

  6. Arrange the segments over the dessert and serve.
