Delicious cheese straws made all the more exciting by being in the shape of Pudsey bear! Why not make these for your next bake sale?

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C, gas mark 6) and grease three baking trays.

  2. Mix the butter, flour and salt until you have a breadcrumb like consistency. (Mix in mustard or chilli powder if using).

  3. Add cheese and stir well. Add eggs on at a time and knead dough into a ball.

  4. Roll dough out on a floured surface to a 1.25cm thick. Use a Pudsey Bear cutter and place on baking tray 2-3cm apart. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
