How to make Air fryer Millie's cookies

Since everybody goes nuts for our Millies Cookies Recipe, we thought we'd whisk up a recipe which we know you'll love just as much (if not more!). In just 6 quick and easy steps, you'll be serving up the gooiest, chewiest cookies you could possibly ever achieve in your air fryer.

We've filled ours with handfuls of chocolate chunks, but you can add any filling you like. Why not try white chocolate chips or m&m's? Whatever you fancy adding, just make sure you keep an eye on them whilst they bake as they might air fry slightly differently to the chocolate chips we've used in this recipe.

Method

  1. Step 1:

In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugars until pale and fluffy then add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.

  2. Step 2:

Sift the flour and salt and then add to the egg mixture. Mix thoroughly until a soft dough forms. Finally stir in the chocolate chips.

  3. Step 3:

Divide the mixture into 24 walnut sized pieces of the dough and roll into balls then flatten each ball slightly.

  4. Step 4:

Set the air fryer temperature to 170C and preheat following the manufacturer’s instructions. When ready to cook place 3-4 cookies (depending upon the size of your air fryer basket) into the basket. You may need a piece of air fryer parchment paper depending on the type of air fryer you are using.

Leave space between the cookies as the mixture will spread.

  5. Step 5:

Cook each batch of cookies for 5-6 minutes, until golden.  The cookies will spread out during baking.

  6. Step 6:

Carefully remove the cookies from the basket using a silicone spatula and cool on the parchment until they are firm enough to transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Repeat until all the cookies are cooked.
