About the Mug Cake

Good things don't always come to those who wait...

Have you only got 5 minutes to spare? Need to satisfy your sugar cravings but your cupboards are bare? Never fear, our Chocolate Mug Cake has come to the rescue. This quick mug cake recipe can be filled and topped with your favourite chocolate and is sure to be gooey, rich and ready to eat in less than a couple of minutes.

Why not smoother in Biscoff Spread or Nutella? Or, if you're feeling extra indulgent hide a Lindt Lindor Truffle in the centre for the ultimate melt-in-the-middle mug cake centre. Yum.

*Please note that all microwaves are different and therefore the cooking time can vary. This mug cake was cooked using a 1250W microwave and took 1 minute on full power. Depending on your microwave the mug cake may take more or less time. The mug cake is ready when it has risen and has started to pull away from the edge of the mug.

The perfect recipe for that super quick chocolate fix. Ready in next to know time and tasted the same as an oven baked cake. Delicious served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
