   This cake really is a showstopper and I'll admit to being nervous when I made it for a party last month. The design is quite intricate looking and I really am no baker at all... But the kit had everything I needed and the instructions were clear. I found the recipe easy to follow and the end result was great. I took some creative license with the design, but I tend to do this anyway, and the finished cake looked the part and was really tasty. Perhaps a little TOO tasty...! The pressure was off with everything on one box and it was fun to do something like this myself.

   Used own tiara and wand. Cake board thin.. Silver pearls go white if held. Cupcake cases hard to split. Buttercream IS enough. Vanilla extract delicious. Buy 4 packs butter, cake uses 400g, buttercream 100g, need more for greasing tins and cupcakes. Buy 2 packs of eggs, cake medium eggs, cupcakes large. BEAUTIFUL Cake Kit box. LOVED finished cake's look & taste. We are now Baking Mad.

   The instruction booklet was fab but differed to the online discription. I also found the silver balls hard to put on the cake so a tip is to use a cocktail stick and make a small hole to pop them on to stay in place,
   The kit is a bit pricey but is great if you dont have time to go out and get the ingredients,
   You will make a super tasty and great looking cake with this kit,

   The kit comes with almost everything you need to make this amazing tasting cake you just need to add butter and eggs. The instructions are simple to follow even for people like me who aint to good at baking,
   There was no big cake topper in the kit tho and only 10 crowns for 12 cupcakes. Sadly there was not enough icing sugar to make both cake and cupcakes so be warned you may need to buy more,The instruction booklet was fab but differed to the online discription.

   I like the presentation of the product. A lot of thought and care has gone into the presentation and quality of ingredients. Unfortunately there is not enough icing sugar in there for cake and cupcakes. I used 4 times the amount stated in the recipe. Also buying the ingredients seperately will work out a lot cheaper than buying them in a pretty presentation box. I'm not sure who the target group for this product would be.
   Personally I would only buy the accessories ie Cake stand, tiaras, etc but not the kit itself as too expensive and not enough ingredients. It is a good idea in general but needs to be better executed and perhaps cheaper to buy. Also I would include all the other bits and bobs into the kit like napkins, plates etc. to truly make it a party in a box.

   Great concept of having a cake in a box. The instructions were easy to follow, quality ingredients and the cake tasted amazing. Not quite enough icing sugar to complete the recipes. Would be even better if it include an egg and margarine substitute so you really didn’t have to buy anything extra.

   The kit comes with everything you need to make this stunning cake you just need to add butter and eggs. As someone who hasn't used fondant icing before I enjoyed my first attempt and was pleased with the results. The Instructions are clear and easy to follow. The cake toppers add a lovely touch to cupcakes and my 5 year old and friends loved them!

   A great kit for someone like me that enjoys to bake but lacks in confidence to create a great cake. The instructions are clear and easy to use but I would like to see some step by step images or a video for the trickier elements to the cake.
   I think it is a little over priced considering additional costs are required such as eggs and butter which for the amount required do add up but for convenience it is great.

    This kit is a great idea, the ingredients are good quality and the instructions are simple to follow.
    There isn't quite enough icing sugar to create all the cakes though.

    Loved having this birthday cake kit! so easy to make as everything comes In 1 box with instructions. I'm a baking newbie and made a great cake which everyone enjoyed!
