About the bake

These vegan pancakes are also gluten free. You can substitute eggs for bananas, apple sauce , flax or chia seeds. We've used banana in this vegan gluten free recipe. This recipe is the best we've ever made so we're happy to share this with you. Please leave a review and share how you got on.

Method

  1. Step 1:

    In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.

  2. Step 2:

    Mix wet ingredients in another bowl. Add sliced bananas and blend until smooth. If you don't have a blender, you also can smash the bananas. It'll do the same job but have a few extra lumps.

  3. Step 3:

    Combine dry and wet ingredients with a blender or with a spoon.

  4. Step 4:

    Grease your frying pan with olive oil and leave to heat. Add a ladle of batter in a hot pan and cook for about two minutes for each side.

  5. Step 5:

    Once all the pancakes are cooked, stack them up and top with sliced banana and agave syrup. 

Ingredients

  • For the Batter

    • 120g Rice flour
    • 120g Oat flour
    • 2 tsp Gluten free baking powder
    • Pinch Salt
    • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
    • 235ml Unsweetened Soya Milk
    • 2 tbsp Agave syrup
    • 1 tbsp Olive oil
    • 2 tsp Nielsen-Massey Vanilla Extract
    • 2 Bananas medium (approx. 200g each)
